LIVEN 產品清潔與維護
Proper care keeps your LIVEN drinkware performing at its best. Follow the guidance below to protect the ceramic coating, maintain taste neutrality, and extend the life of every piece.
General Do's & Don'ts
✔ Do
- Hand-wash with warm water and a mild, fragrance-free dish soap.
- Use a soft sponge or cloth — nothing abrasive.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to air-dry upside-down, or dry immediately with a soft towel.
- Clean after every use, especially with coffee, tea, or acidic drinks.
- Store with the lid off or loosely placed to allow airflow and prevent odour build-up.
✘ Don't
- Use steel wool, scouring pads, or abrasive powders — they will scratch and degrade the ceramic coating.
- Use bleach-based or solvent cleaners.
- Soak the exterior in water for extended periods.
- Strike or drop the vessel on hard surfaces; ceramic coatings can chip on impact.
Dishwasher safety varies by product. Please refer to the care label on your specific item or contact us before machine-washing.
Ceramic Coating Care
The ceramic coating on LIVEN Glow products provides a smooth, taste-neutral interior. To keep it in optimal condition:
- Avoid sudden temperature extremes — do not move a vessel from freezer-cold to boiling liquid in one step.
- Do not use as a cooking vessel — direct heat exposure (stovetop, open flame, microwave) can damage the coating.
- Inspect regularly — if you notice chipping, flaking, or unusual discolouration inside the coating, discontinue use and contact our support team.
Removing Lid Assemblies & Cleaning Steps
Lids and gaskets are the most common source of lingering taste or odour. Follow these steps after each use:
- Remove the lid — twist or lift off according to your product's lid type.
- Detach the silicone gasket (where present) — use a fingernail or soft pick; do not stretch forcefully.
- Wash lid parts separately — use warm soapy water and a small brush or pipe cleaner to reach grooves and spout channels.
- Rinse all parts thoroughly — soap residue trapped in gasket channels causes off-taste.
- Air-dry completely before reassembling — trapped moisture leads to mould in sealed lids.
- Reassemble when fully dry — ensure the gasket seats evenly with no gaps.
Replacement gaskets may be available. Contact us if yours is damaged or has lost its seal.
Tackling Lingering Taste or Odour
- Fill with a solution of one teaspoon of baking soda and warm water. Let sit for 15–30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
- Alternatively, use a diluted white vinegar rinse (1 part vinegar : 3 parts water), let stand 10 minutes, then rinse well.
- Do not use these methods more than once a week, and always rinse completely to avoid residual taste.
